What to ExpectYour First Visit (expected length = 1 to 1.5 hours)Your long-term health history and future health status are as important to us as are the details of your presenting complaint. For this reason, you will be asked to complete detailed health history forms, after which you and the doctor will have a thorough consultation. This will be followed by a complete orthopedic and chiropractic examination. Other diagnostic tools, such as X-rays, EMG, and thermography may be incorporated into the exam if the doctor feels it will help to provide you with a more accurate diagnosis. Your Second Visit (expected length = 20-40 minutes)During your second visit, the doctor will discuss the exam findings with you and outline your recommended program of care with respect to your health care goals. Provided that we can help you and you consent to our recommendations, your chiropractic care will commence. Your Regular Centre Visit (expected length = 20 minutes)The primary treatment is the chiropractic adjustment. An adjustment is a gentle, specific force applied to a specific joint. Patients are often pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this procedure is. This correction is often accompanied by a "popping" sound, similar to the sound that occurs when opening a pop can. "During my initial visit to Dr. Davidson's office, I was really impressed with the time he took to assess my problem. Through his care, my long-term problem is totally gone. Now Dr. Davidson is the first person I call with a new health problem. He always listens to my concerns and his exam is very thorough. I would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends." - An Adjusted for Life Patient "The treatment I've received is amazing. I'm very satisfied with the quality of care and service. Most importantly, I have a lot of confidence that my interests are taken care of and I trust the clinic completely. Thank you for giving me a high quality of life every day." - An Adjusted for Life Patient |
